Take part in usability testing the new website

Got five minutes? Take part in usability testing of a new prototype of the CERN people section

|

It is really important for us to test whether we are on track with the architecture and design of the site while it's still in pre-release.

The feedback we have had to date suggests that we're nearly there with the sections targeted at the public, but that we still have work to do to meet the needs of the CERN community. In particular, many of you felt that no part of the new site would serve well as your new homepage on a daily basis.

We are therefore going to iterate on the designs of both the CERN people section and the directory. We'd really appreciate your feedback on a new prototype version of the CERN people page by performing a few simple tasks using an online testing tool (this should take around 5 minutes for you to complete).

During the test you may notice that a few functions in the new site are not performing as expected: don't worry, we're gathering data on the usability of the design, not the functionality of the code (which we'll build later based on this research).

To take part in this test, please follow this link.

Beyond this online test we have also gathered a panel of 20 CERN people (chosen from those who gave us feedback with the pre-release site) whom we will be asking for more specific help testing this prototype.

Thank you in advance!
