The Globe re-opens its doors

After a year of intensive maintenance work, the Globe of Science and Innovation will open its doors again at 10.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 19 April for the public. From this date, the “Universe of Particles” exhibition, which has also been updated, will be open free of charge, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays (except during official CERN closures).

To celebrate the re-opening, we would like to invite you to an event starting at 12.15 p.m. on Monday, 18 April, which will give you the opportunity to find out more about the work done over the past year and to visit the “Universe of Particles” exhibition.

12.15          Guests arrive at the Globe of Science and Innovation

12.30         Address by Charlotte Warakaulle, Director for International Relations

12.45          Address by the architects in charge of the renovation work

12.55          Presentation of the first events on the Globe’s programme for the general public (see below)

13.00         Drink, media Q&A session, tour of the building and exhibition

14.00         End of the event
